Hema’s film will not have Abhishek Bachchan

After 15 years, Hema Malini started refurbishing her production house and roped in Revathi to direct her film. She has already signed Rekha and her daughter Esha in the film. There was also a buzz that Abhishek Bachchan is roped in for the film. However, a reliable source confirms that Abhishek is not a part of this project.
Also, unlike the rumors which say that the shoot will start next month, this untitled film will go on floors only by next year.
It is learnt that the subject is women-centric and deals with mother and daughter relationship. Hema wanted Revathi to handle this project as she felt that a woman director would be able to relate to the mother-daughter subject better. This will be Revathi’s third directorial venture. Mitr-My Friend and Phir Milenge; her preceding endeavors had been largely acclaimed.
