When Dharmendra slapped a newcomer!

Newcomer Neil Nitin Mukesh is making his acting debut in movie Johnny Gaddaar .Neil is singer Nitin Mukesh’s son and celebrated singer Mukesh’s grandson. Despite coming from a family of singers Neil chose acting as his career.
In his very first film he gets to act with the likes of Dharmendra and Vinay Pathak (who has risen to fame after ‘Bheja Fry’).An interesting incident happened while shooting ‘Johnny Gaddaar’. There is a high voltage emotional scene between Neil and Dharmendra in which the two men have a heated confrontation and Dharmendra slap him.However, while shooting the scene Dharmendra accidentally ended up slapping Neil in reality instead of just pretending to slap him.After the veteran’s heavy hand landed on his cheek, Neil was shocked and tears came to his eyes. Thankfully, the shot required Neil to look stunned and teary-eyed. Director Sriram Raghavan okayed the shot because Neil’s reaction and tears were natural. Dharmendra felt apologetic to the newcomer for having slapped him accidentally. But Neil took the whole incident lightly.Neil has made a good start in Bollywood. He has signed a three-film deal with Adlabs. ‘Johnny Gaddaar’ is the first of these three films.
